GSEB Solutions for Class 6 Mathematics – Revision: 2 (Sem -II)

GSEB Solutions for Class 6 Mathematics – Revision: 2 (Sem -II)

GSEB SolutionsMathsScience
Revision – 1

Solution 1(1):

a. 0
We know that subtracting a negative number is the same as adding a positive number.
(-2) – (-2)
= (-2) + 2 = 0

Solution 1(2):

b. (-4), (-1), 0, 2, 3
gseb-solutions-class-6-mathematics-revision-2-sem-ii-1(2)
The numbers in the ascending order on the number line are the numbers from left to right.

Solution 1(3):

b. 78°
Measure of complementary angle of an angle = 90˚ – Measure of the given angle
The measure of given angle = 12˚
∴ Measure of its complementary angle = 90˚ – 12˚ = 78˚

Solution 1(4):

c. 72°
Measure of supplementary angle of an angle = 180˚ – Measure of the given angle
The measure of given angle = 108˚
∴ Measure of its supplementary angle = 180˚ – 108˚ = 72˚

Solution 1(5):

d. 71°
The measures of vertically opposite angles are equal.

Solution 1(6):

b. 1
The numbers 7 and 17 are the prime numbers and H.C.F. of two or more prime numbers is always 1

Solution 1(7):

d. 24
L.C.M of 8 and 12 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 = 24
gseb-solutions-class-6-mathematics-revision-2-sem-ii-1(7)

Solution 1(8):

a. 33 and 37
H.C.F. of 33 and 37 = 1
H.C.F. of 2 and 8 = 2
H.C.F. of 7 and 21 = 7
H.C.F. of 25 and 75 = 25

Solution 1(9):

Solution 1(11):

d. circumference
Perimeter of circle is known as circumference of a circle.

Solution 1(12):

gseb-solutions-class-6-mathematics-revision-2-sem-ii-2.2
gseb-solutions-class-6-mathematics-revision-2-sem-ii-2.3

Solution 3:

gseb-solutions-class-6-mathematics-revision-2-sem-ii-3

Solution 4:

gseb-solutions-class-6-mathematics-revision-2-sem-ii-4

Solution 5:

The measure of given angle = 64˚
Measure of complementary angle of an angle = 90˚ – Measure of the given angle = 90˚ – 64˚ = 26˚
Measure of supplementary angle of an angle = 180˚ – Measure of the given angle= 180˚ – 64˚ = 116˚

Solution 6:

Angles forming a linear pair are always supplementary.
∴The sum of the measures of angles of a linear pair = 180˚
The measure of given angle = 102˚
∴Measure of angle forming its linear pair = 180˚ – 102˚ = 78˚

Solution 7:

1. 35, 77 and 84
gseb-solutions-class-6-mathematics-revision-2-sem-ii-7.1
35 = 5 × 7
77 = 7 × 11
84 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 7
∴H.C.F. of 35, 77 and 84 = 7
2. 30 and 110
gseb-solutions-class-6-mathematics-revision-2-sem-ii-7.2
30 = 2 × 3 × 5
110 = 2 × 5 × 11
H.C.F. of 5 and 11 = 2 × 5 = 10
3. 78, 96 and 108
gseb-solutions-class-6-mathematics-revision-2-sem-ii-7.3
78 = 2 × 3 × 13
96= 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 3
108 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 3
∴H.C.F. of 78, 96 and 108 = 2 × 3 = 6

Solution 8:

1. 36 and 54
gseb-solutions-class-6-mathematics-revision-2-sem-ii-8.1
L.C.M. of 36 and 54 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 3 = 108
2. 27, 54 and 81
gseb-solutions-class-6-mathematics-revision-2-sem-ii-8.2
L.C.M. of 27, 54 and 81 = 2 × 3 × 3 × 3 × 3 = 162
3. 15, 25 and 30
gseb-solutions-class-6-mathematics-revision-2-sem-ii-8.3
L.C.M. of 15, 25 and 30 = 2 × 3 × 5 × 5 = 150
