- Right to Information A consumer can demand detailed information about any item to make a wise choice.

- In this age finger food should be served i.e. make a roll of stuffed parantha, or put vegetable in between chapati.
- Child should be served food in a pleasant and tension free environment.
- Never force parents likes and dislikes on the child. Let the child decide himself whether he likes the new food or not.
- Avoid giving flavoured, spicy, fried and more fibrous food. Such food may harm the delicate digestive system of the child.
- Meals should be appealing and attractive so that the child is tempted to eat.
- Don’t serve either very hot or very cold food to the child.

While purchasing fruits and vegetables, following points should be kept in mind
- Buy only seasonal and fresh fruits and vegetables. They should not be rotten.
- There should not be any stain on fruits and vegetables. The fruits should be properly ripe.
- Leaves of leafy vegetables should be shiny, green in colour and stiff.
- Don’t buy the fruits and vegetables which have holes as they are affected by worms.
- The peel of juicy fruits like orange, lemon should be thin and smell fresh.

- Buy fruits and vegetables only from a reputed and familiar vendor.

Four ways which make potable water unfit for drinking at home
- Water will be contaminated if there is drainage of sewer water into the main stream of water.

- There is no limit on the amount of money which one can invest in this scheme.

- Money gets doubled- in 8 years 4 months.
- They are issued by the government, hence investing money in them is safe.
- They are simple and easily accessible.
Drawbacks of Kisan Vikas Patra
Following are five drawbacks of this scheme
- No income tax rebate is given in it.
- The person cannot take loan against them.
- Interest is not tax-free.
- Rate of interest is not good.
- The title of the holder may be changed in this scheme and the sources of money can’t be disclosed by the investor. So it creates a chances to promote the tendency of black money.
