The School Boy Introduction

The poet William Blake depicts the feelings of a school boy who is not a happy child. He compares himself to a bird that lives in a cage, and that to a plant that withers when it should blossom. Of course, he finds no joy in school during summer morning:

कविता में एक स्कूल छात्र एक प्रसन्नचित्त बच्चा नहीं है। उसे अप्रसन्न कौन बना देता है? वह अपने आप की एक पक्षी से तुलना क्यों करता है जो पिंजरे में बन्द है, या उस पौधे से जो मुरझा जाता है जबकि उसे खिलना चाहिए।
