You are Rohit. Today morning you received a call from Mr. Joseph, your fathers friend. Your father was on his morning walk. Mr. Joseph asked you to please convey your father that he was in fever. He is not in position to go to the office today. He has asked your father to inform the Managing Director about it.
Dear Father 8AM
Today morning some Mr. Joseph had called upon you when you were out on morning walk. In fact he wanted to talk to you for a favour from you. He has left a message for you that he won’t go to office today. He is in fever. He has requested you to inform the Managing Director on his behalf and get the leave granted for him. He will submit the leave application the next day.
Read the following conversation carefully:
Rosy : Hello ! is it 9035022565?
Rehana : Yes, please. Who’s it there?
Rosy : I’m Rosy, a friend of Roma. Where is she?
Rehana : Oh! Sorry. Actually she has forgotten her mobile here. She has gone to the market. Can I help you, please ?
Rosy : Oh, sure. In fact, I wanted to convey her that today’s music classes \ shall be suspended because the teacher is not well. Instead it will be held on Sunday. So she should remember it.
Could you please pass this message to her?
Rehana : Oh! Sure. Thank you.
Rosy : Thank you too.
As Rehana is going to her dance classes she needs to reproduce the message for Roma. Write the message on her behalf with every detail.
Dear Roma 2 AM
Today your friend Rosy had called upon you when you had been to market. In fact she had to tell you that your music classes shall be suspended because your teacher is not well. Instead it would be held on Sunday. If you like you may talk to her.
Rakesh had the following conversation with Mohit, a friend of his elder brother:
Mohit : Hello! Is it 23967509?
Rakesh : Yes, please. Who are you talking please?
Mohit : May I talk to Rahul, please? I am his friend.
Rakesh : Oh! Sorry. In fact Rahul isn’t at home. He will be back in an hour. By the way, I am his brother. Can I do anything for you?
Mohit : Oh. Sure. In fact I have a message for Rahul. Could you please tell him?
Rakesh : Sure, with pleasure. Tell me, please.
Mohit : Today we have planned to go to a movie at PVR, Saket in the evening.
We have booked ticket in advance. So please ask Rahul to join us at 5pm at the PVR.
Rakesh : OK, ill inform him as he comes back.
As Rakesh had to leave for his coaching classes, he left this message for Rahul. Write the message on his behalf in not more than 50 words. Put the message in a box.

Dear RahulYour friend Mohit had called upon you when you were away in the morning. He had left a message for you that they have planned to go to a movie today in the evening at PVR, Saket. They have booked the ticket in advance. He has asked you to join them at 5 PM at PVR.

As receptionist at a hotel you had the following conversation with Ms Arohi Nautial, the HR Manager of a publishing House:
As your shift is over now leave the message for the Manager for the follow up action. Your message should not exceed 50 words. Put your message in a box.

There was a call from one Ms Arohi Nautial, the HR Manager of publishing company at Delhi. She asked for the quotation of tariff for a two days’, conference arrangement for her company here in our Hotel. She has asked to E-mail or FAX it ASAP so that she could decide at the earliest. Her E-mail ID is [email protected] Could you please manage to do the same?
You are Ramesh. Today you had the following conversation with Rajesh, a friend of your elder brother:
Rajesh : Hello! Is it 991234509?
Ramesh : Yes. I’m Ramesh speaking. What can I do for you?
Rajesh : Well, Ramesh! I’m Rajesh, you know your brother’s friend.
Ramesh : Oh, I see. Well, brother is not here now. So can I help you?
Rajesh : Could you please conveiy him that he should bring my practical book today in school as I need it in class today.
Ramesh : That’s fine. Ill do that.
As you are leaving for your school, write a message for your brother in about 50 words. Put your message in a box.

Your friend Ramesh had called upon you in the morning. As you were not here left a message for you. He has asked you to take his practical book today in school. Today he needs it there in school. Please don’t forget.
You are Sonakshi. Your father is on tour. Today morning he called upon your mother. As your mother was not at home, you received the call and had the following conversation with him:
Father : Hello! Who is speaking?
Yourself: Sonakshi here.
Father : Well Sonakshi, I am here now in Chennai. Where is your Mom? Yourself: Papa, she has gone to the market and will be back in an hour. Have you any message for her?
Father : Oh, yes. Please tell her that my meeting may prolong for two more days. In that case I may be back on the 5th. Otherwise 111 return as per scheduled programme. After coming back we will go to Kashmir.
So be ready for that.
Yourself: Thank you Papa. Ill convey it to Mom and all.

Father had called upon you when you were out in the market. He has left a message that his meeting may be extended by two days more. In that case he will be back on 5th, otherwise he will be back as per schedule. After he returns, he has a programme to take us to Kashmir. So be ready for that.
